I’m going to be controversial here and say that Lazy Sunday’s… aren’t all that great. Doing nothing is boring. Lazy Sunday’s are only good if a) you’re not actually being lazy. You’re doing something or you’re out somewhere; the cinema, the pub, a gig, an event, anything.  And b) you’re not alone. Being with someone else would indicate some sort of activity or at least interaction so again you’re not actually being lazy. You’re doing something. Activity technically disqualifies the term ‘lazy’ from your Sunday but you still refer to said day as a ‘lazy’ one because… you’re not at work. It’s a break from your normal routine. It’s… good. Or so I’ve been told.

A Lazy Sunday by definition* would involve no actively joyous pursuits whatsoever. I theorise that after a prolonged period of Lazy Sundays the brain will stagnate and DIE.
