Because, Ralph Steadman draws what the inside of my head looks like. Then the obvious link to Hunter S Thompson. A writer who I like and admire for the times when the lifesylte was enhancing his work and not smothering it. Also because of this:

“I was pouring sweat. My blood is too thick for Nevada. I’ve never been able to properly explain myself in this climate.”

Substitute Nevada for any place I’ve ever been where the temperature tops 25C and that’s me. It’s dull and rainy today and I love it. And iPhones, because I need one.
