I liked it. Of course it was long, but so was the book. After a fast paced opening the bit in the middle does leave you feeling a bit lost. But so are the characters. And that’s not a bad thing really. The animation that explained the history of the Deathly Hallows was amazing. There were a few laughs, though it was mostly bleak. One for the over 12s and old souls only. Despite lacking in Gary Oldman the film looks good and sounds good without being feel good. I felt both sad and ashamed that the director could stir up so much emotion in me over the death of a CGI house-elf.
Are you really into everything? Why do you not finish everything? How nice are you?
Yeah, really. If I come across something that I don’t know about, I’ll read about it. Generally the reading comes first. And if I like it, I’ll do it. Or watch it. Or listen to it. Or go there. If I’m not that into it then I’ll move on and find something else.
I never finish anything because I always find something else. There’s just too much… stuff.
